Deputy Practice Manager
The Administration team are responsible for managing referrals, reviewing medical records of new patients, inputting and summarising medical history, and carrying out searches, practice audits and other business administrative tasks.
The Reception team provides an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries, dealing with referrals, and dealing with patient records.
The Medical Secretaries are the link between the GPs and the hospital specialists. They also provide reports to solicitors and insurance companies and letters for patients.
All our staff are here to help you, and will do so to the best of their ability. We expect them to treat you with respect and courtesy at all times, and we ask you to be polite and courteous in return. The surgery operates a zero tolerance policy against violence or abuse towards our staff.
