We have a vacancy for an enthusiastic and experienced Receptionist to join our busy, friendly GP Practice to be based at two of our sites Firs House Surgery Histon & Telegraph St Surgery Cottenham. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and flexible person to join our team of receptionists.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, and be able to demonstrate sensitivity, respect, tact and diplomacy in a confidential working environment.  Previous experience working within a GP practice is preferred and knowledge of EMIS would be an advantage, however, full training is provided.

Office Manager (25 Hours per week)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly capable Office Manager within Firs House Medical Partnership. We are looking for a part-time, permanent Office Manager to join our small friendly team, based at our branch surgery in Cottenham.  The post is for 25 hours, Monday to Friday (9am - 3pm).  This post would be suitable for someone looking for school hours only.

Overseeing the day to day management of Telegraph Street Surgery reporting to the Practice Manager, the post-holder would also be expected to work closely with staff based at Firs House Surgery in nearby Histon.

The successful candidate will have  excellent organisational, communication and people skills, and be able to influence and direct others constructively and maintain good team morale. They will have experience of management, be friendly and approachable, be able to deal with any situation calmly and efficiently, and have good judgment and initiative.
